For us, it really is all about the experience. Here at Wolf Ridge Trophy Whitetails, everything that we do, we do for you. Our main goal is to provide the best hunting experience in lower Michigan.
With state-of-the-art blinds and elevated hunting stands throughout the preserve, and one of our experienced guides at your side, your hunting experience at Wolf Ridge Trophy Whitetails is sure to be a great one.
We have a number of different hunts to choose from, including trophy buck hunting, management buck hunting, and doe hunting, so there’s something for every experience level. You’ll also have a chance to hunt pheasants, or even go fishing on any of our fully-stocked ponds.

Conveniently Located in Howell, MI
Michigan is blessed with some of the most beautiful scenery in the entire country, especially up north. The problem with going up north is that it’s a long drive. That’s why we decided to open up a hunting reserve right here in mid-Michigan. Howell, MI turned out to be the perfect spot.
Conveniently located an hour away from both of Michigan’s major airports, Howell is the perfect place for a hunting lodge. It helps that the densely forested surrounding area is absolutely stunning.
Good Genetics = Great Deer
When it comes to our whitetailed deer, we put an emphasis on good genetics. Because all of our deer are bred and born here on the preserve, we have a great deal of control when it comes to our animals’ genetics.
We breed our deer, not only for antler height and width, but for coat coloring as well. Our preserve is home to a number of rare piebald deer, some of the most beautiful whitetailed deer you’ll ever see. Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to add your very own to your trophy collection.
All that being said, life always finds a way, and there are always genetic outliers.
